Назначение UNDSMA
Посол мира в Греции

The United Nations Development of Sport, Music and the Arts (UNDSMA) is pleased to formally announce the appointment of Mr. Zan Nini as Peace Ambassador for Greece. This appointment has been formally issued and endorsed by Mr. Alain Khoueiry, on behalf of UNDSMA leadership.

The appointment of Mr. Zan Nini reflects UNDSMA’s continued commitment to strengthening its global network of ambassadors dedicated to promoting peace, unity, and international cooperation through cultural and creative platforms.

While representing Greece, Mr. Nini will contribute to advancing initiatives that harness the power of sport, music, and the arts to foster dialogue, bridge cultural divides, and inspire collaboration across communities. His role is positioned within a broader international effort to support peacebuilding through inclusive and culturally driven engagement.

As UNDSMA Peace Ambassador for Greece, Mr. Nini will play a central role in advancing peace, cultural diplomacy, and international goodwill through the unifying platforms of sport, music, and the arts. His appointment reflects a commitment to fostering meaningful connections between communities and positioning Greece as an active participant in global cultural dialogue.

In his capacity as ambassador, Mr. Nini will represent UNDSMA at national and international events, strengthening the organisation’s presence while promoting Greece as a centre for intercultural exchange and cooperation. He will work to build bridges between diverse communities, encouraging dialogue and collaboration through cultural initiatives and partnerships.

A key focus of his role will be the development and support of peace-driven sporting initiatives. Through inclusive programmes and youth engagement, he will promote sport as a powerful tool for unity, social cohesion, and mutual understanding, encouraging participation across all sectors of society.

In parallel, Mr. Nini will support initiatives in music and the arts, recognising their ability to transcend boundaries and connect people across cultures. By contributing to concerts, exhibitions, and creative programmes, he will help empower young people and communities, using artistic expression as a platform to promote peace and shared values.

His work will also extend into community engagement, collaborating with NGOs, educational institutions, and local organisations to support grassroots initiatives focused on inclusion, cooperation, and respect. Through these efforts, he will contribute to building a culture of peace at the community level. Drawing on Greece’s historic connection to the Olympic movement, he will champion values of respect, excellence, and friendship as foundations for peacebuilding.

On the international stage, Mr. Nini will help strengthen partnerships across Europe and beyond, representing Greece in UNDSMA-led programmes and supporting cross-border initiatives that promote peace through sport, music, and the arts.

This appointment reflects UNDSMA’s ongoing mission to empower individuals who can drive meaningful impact through cultural diplomacy and creative engagement. Greece, with its unique cultural heritage and strategic position, offers an important platform for fostering dialogue and cooperation.

The United Nations Development of Sport, Music and the Arts (UNDSMA) is an independent international organisation dedicated to promoting peace, unity, and sustainable development through sport, music, and the arts.

“We are pleased to appoint Mr. Zan Nini as Peace Ambassador for Greece. His role will support our mission to advance peace and international goodwill through cultural and creative collaboration.”
