ORGANIZATION FOR HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENSE

Purpose

The main purpose for which the organization was established is to promote and defend human rights as stipulated in the Universal Declaration Human Rights and in the Charter of the United Nations.

​

Main Activity

To be an advocate for the affirmation of human rights throughout the planet, and for the realization of world peace and justice by non-violent means; To remove all forms of exclusion from the human right to life, liberty and social justice, and to protect the population of the world from any violation and abuse of their sacred human rights, regardless of race, social status, health, gender, citizenship or religion.

Empowerment

Our officers are duly empowered to pursue, investigate and bring to justice offenders of human rights through its international policing powers in collaboration with its international affiliation with other law enforcement agencies. The Organization for Human Rights Defense is an association based on humanitarian ideals. It is apolitical, with a status of not-for-profit and is interdependent without partiality to institution, religion or any other affiliation. The organization exists on the basis of the free will of its members to associate (UDHR Article 20), in order to promote the civic values of democracy and partnership, between public authorities and persons governed by private law with no patrimonial purpose, developing the basis for understanding and embracing the ideals and objectives of the need to promote and defend human rights.

UNITED NATIONS

The Commission for Human Rights Defense also known as The Office of the UN High Commission for Human Rights.

Abbreviations: OHCHR, HCDH. The Commission is a secretariat department of the United Nations that works to promote and protect the human rights that are guaranteed under International Law.

ECOSOC

The Economic & Social Council

The Economic and Social Council is at the heart of the United Nations system to advance the three dimensions of sustainable development – economic, social and environmental. It is the central platform for fostering debate and innovative thinking, forging consensus on ways forward, and coordinating efforts to achieve internationally agreed goals. It is also responsible for the follow-up to major UN conferences and summits. The UN Charter established ECOSOC in 1945 as one of the six main organs of the United Nations

IPA

International Police Association

The worldwide IPA is a growing and outward looking organization. It is an NGO in Consultative (Special) Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations; in Consultative Status with the Council of Europe, the Organization of American States and UNESCO; International NGO maintaining operational relations within EUROPOL. The global reach of The International Police Association will provide a significant resource in the realization of promoting the “service through friendship” motto through mutual trust and co-operation amongst serving and retired law enforcement Officers throughout the world, enabling the development of social, cultural and professional links free of any discrimination of, rank, sex, race, color, language or religion.

UNDSMA

United Nations Department of Sport, Music and The Arts

UNDSMA is the new name for the appointed NGO that has been working as an Organization of Goodwill to assist the UN System with its initiatives of Development and Peace projects worldwide, since 2004. The NGO was in collaboration with the late Secretary General Kofi Annan and assisted in evolving the United Nations Office of Sport for Development and Peace (UNOSDP) in order to bring awareness and support to the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 53/25. ​‘SPORT’ can be used as an effective delivery mechanism for education about peace, tolerance, and respect for opponents, regardless of ethnic, cultural, religious or other differences... and as you know, ‘MUSIC’ is the universal language of peace throughout the world, bridging all boundaries and ‘The ARTS’ is the gifted ‘soul of creation’.The inclusive nature of SPORT, MUSIC, and THE ARTS are great tools to increase knowledge, understanding and awareness about peaceful co-existence.
